သမိုင်းဝင် ဝံပုလွေဖြူတို့ ပြန်လည်နိုးထတော်မူခန်း

လွန်ခဲ့တဲ့ နှစ်ပေါင်းတစ်သောင်းကျော်က မျိုးသုဉ်းသွားတဲ့ Dire Wolves ခေါ် မွေးဖြူဝံပုလွေကြီးမျိုးတွေနဲ့ ဆင်တူတဲ့၊ မျိုးရိုးဗီဇပြုပြင်ထားတဲ့ ဝံပုလွေသုံးကောင်ကို Colossal Biosciences ကုမ္ပဏီက အောင်အောင်မြင်မြင် မွေးဖွားနိုင်ခဲ့တယ်လို့ ပြီးခဲ့တဲ့ တနင်္လာနေ့က ထုတ်ပြန်ကြေညာပါတယ်။

အသက် ၃ လကနေ ၆ လ အရွယ်ရှိတဲ့ ဒီဝံပုလွေမျိုးတွေက အဖြူရောင်အမွေးရှည်တွေ၊ တောင့်တင်းတဲ့ ပါးရိုးတွေနဲ့ အလေးချိန် ပေါင် ၈၀ ထိ ရှိတယ်လို့ ကုမ္ပဏီဘက်က ပြောပါတယ်။ လွန်ခဲ့တဲ့ နှစ်ပေါင်း ၁၀,၀၀၀ ကျော်က မျိုးသုဉ်းသွားတဲ့ Dire Wolves တွေက သူနဲ့ ဆွေမျိုးနီးစပ်ကျန်ခဲ့တဲ့ Gray Wolves တွေနဲ့ ယှဉ်ရင်တော့ အရွယ်အစားပိုကြီးတာပါ။ သုတေသီတွေက Dire ဝံပုလွေတွေရဲ့ ကျောက်ဖြစ်ရုပ်ကြွင်းက DNA ကို လေ့လာပြီး Gray မျိုးစိတ်ရဲ့ ဆဲလ်ထဲ CRISPR လို့ ခေါ်တဲ့ နည်းပညာကို သုံးပြီး မျိုးဗီဇကို ပြုပြင်ခဲ့တာလဲ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ အဲဒီ ပြုပြင်ထားတဲ့ မျိုးဗီဇတွေကို အိမ်မွေးခွေးတွေရဲ့ သန္ဓေသားတွေထဲ ထည့်ရင်း ကိုယ်ဝန်ဆောင်စေခဲ့ပြီးနောက် ရက်ပေါင်း ၆၀ အကြာမှာ မျိုးသုဉ်းပျောက်ကွယ်သွားတဲ့ Dire ဝံပုလွေတွေနဲ့ နီးစပ်တဲ့ ဝံပုလွေတွေ မွေးဖွားလာတာပါ။

တပြိုင်တည်းမှာပဲ Colossal ကုမ္ပဏီက မျိုးသုဉ်းဖို့ အန္တရာယ်ရှိနေတဲ့ ဝံပုလွေနီ (Red Wolves) တွေကိုလဲ ကလုန်းနည်းပညာနဲ့ လေးကောင်ထိ မွေးဖွားနိုင်ခဲ့တယ်လို့ ထုတ်ပြန်ထားပါတယ်။ ဒါကလဲ မျိုးသုဉ်းလုနီးပါး သတ္တဝါတွေကို ထိန်းသိမ်းကာကွယ်ဖို့ ရည်ရွယ်တဲ့ ကုမ္ပဏီရဲ့ ကြိုးပမ်းမှု တစ်စိတ်တစ်ပိုင်းပါပဲ။
